Moises Goldszmidt, Ph.D.
I am an expert in statistical machine learning, with over 20+ years of contributions to the theory and application of algorithms and techniques for automatically building actionable models from data. I pioneered the theory and practice of Bayesian Networks as Statistical Pattern Classifiers in 1996, and pioneered the application of Machine Learning for Automated Monitoring and Diagnosing of Large Scale Distributed Systems in 2005 (please refer to my publication and patent record). For the past two years I have been looking at the intersection of Machine Learning and Approximation algorithms for applications in Social Networks and at problems with applying Machine Learning in adversarial settings for Security. I am a recognized technical leader for bringing together people with diverse backgrounds and interests to solve significant problems.
